A New Resource for Lifelong Catechesis

Holy Name Parish has an exciting new web resource to continue your spiritual growth. The latest program is known as: "Call to Faith eConnect".  We hope you take this opportunity to participate during this Advent Season to strengthen and to grow in your faith.

Lectors may take the opportunity to prepare for all of the Mass readings on "Call to Faith eConnect" as well.

Priestly Hands Priestly Voice

Dear Members and Friends,

We all know that this is the Year of the Priest. This Sunday was "Priesthood Sunday" and a special mass was held at Holy Name Church, celebrated by Bishop Ignatius Wang assisted by Fr. Nick Paloso. Our pastor, Fr. Arnold Zamora, read the Gospel and his homily included this musical homage to those who are called to the priesthood. This is a YouTube recording of Fr. Arnold singing his own composition, although last Sunday was extra special as he sang this live with the Madrigal Singers in the background. For those who missed this very moving mass, enjoy this recording and may it inspire you. And let us all pray that those who feel called to the religious life are guided in their discernment.

Many thanks to our friend Roonie Flaherty for the link.

Have a nice week, everyone.
