When can I register?
Holy Name Conservatory operates two 15-week semesters for private instruction and an 8-week summer program. Although it is best that a student start their lessons at the beginning of the Semester, students may still register for private lessons in any instrument we offer or voice at any time during the year and pay the prorated cost of the remaining lessons in the semester.
How do I register?
Registration can be done in person or by mail, fax or e-mail. For more information, please call Jackie Alcaraz at (415) 664-8590.
Can I try before I buy?
Yes. If you plan to register for private lessons for the first time, you may pay for an individual trial lesson with no obligation to register for further lessons. Trial lessons may be scheduled with Jackie Alcaraz at (415) 664-8590.
How do I pay for my classes?
We accept cash, checks and major credit cards. Credit card charges include a processing fee. Please see registration information for exact fees. ALL CLASSES MUST BE PRE-PAID BEFORE LESSONS BEGIN.
Is financial aid available?
Financial aid is not available at this time.
What is the absence/makeup policy?
Each student receives one excused absence per year due to a reason other than illness of the student or absence of the teacher (including but not limited to family trips, vacations, athletic or other events). In this case, it is the student and parent’s responsibility to inform the teacher at least 7 days in advance for the absence to be excused and the lesson rescheduled.
